Public Meeting
This public hearing is being held because most of our county commissioners chose to ignore their responsibility regarding oversight of the Electric system Pursuant to T.C.A. 7-52-112 and the preferment of formal charges by resolution. Tonight, the responsibility and the unenviable task of Judge and Jury are yours. The gate leading to the worn path of picking and choosing which laws to obey has been left open. One can expect only chaos until the gate is locked. This evening I rise to show cause for the removal of the present Electric Board of Benton County. Our journey begins with how the board is not properly sworn in and ends with nepotism and political payoffs on steroids.
