County Mayor Wiseman supports cover-up
At the Benton County Electric System

It is another sad day for Benton County Government. Today’s paper is out and the County Mayor did not place the notice of a public hearing on the Benton County Electric System. Of course, this goes beyond an infraction of the Sunshine Law. County Mayor Jimmy Wiseman has subverted the will of the people. By ignoring the Resolution (law) passed by the County Commission (legislative body) on August 20th 2007 he has violated his oath of office and broken the law. The County Commission has a responsibility to pursue charges in this matter. Will the Commission step up and set a date for the hearing?
